Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and working closely with Island Health's Executive Leadership Team, the Vice President (VP), Population & Public Health and Chief Medical Officer (CMHO) leads strategy to improve population health through an equity lens for communities and residents of Vancouver Island. The successful candidate is an accomplished, innovative and well-rounded senior leader with a medical health background specific to population and public health and is eligible to be a licensed physician in British Columbia.

Carol Fuller
Licensed Physician in the Province of British Columbia.
Fellowship in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (must be in Public Health and Preventive Medicine).
Master's Degree in a field of Public Health, Health Administration or Public Administration and a minimum of fifteen (15) years of recent related experience including experience in a population and public health setting in a progressively more senior executive leadership role within a large, complex and multi-site organization.
San'yas Indigenous Cultural Safety Training Program completion a requirement.
Certified Health Executive (CHE) or Canadian Society of Physician Leaders (CPSL) an asset.
