Dr Mitch Zelman, who came to the island to join the Nanaimo group in 2017, has been awarded the 2021 Distinguished Community Paediatrician Award. As per the CPS announcement, “The Community Paediatrics Section executive is proud to acknowledge the achievements of Dr. Mitchell Zelman”. An in-person presentation will be held during the 2021 Annual Conference section awards dinner in Vancouver. Hopefully there will be a live meeting next year in Vancouver and we can all travel to celebrate with him!
