Long-Term Carerates for long term care clients are based on your previous year’s tax assessment. Upon admission to a residential care facility, the Case Manager will complete a financial assessment and determine a monthly billing rate. The rate is forwarded to our office for monthly billing.
If your financial circumstances have changed and you require a rate review, contact the Home and Community Care case manager at theCommunity Care office.
Facilities Operated by Island Health
Preauthorized payments by credit card or bank withdrawals can be set up by requesting a payment form by emailing the Billing department for Residential Care atrevenuerescarebilling@islandhealth.ca.
Facilities Not Operated by Island Health
For thoselong-term care locationsnot operated by Island Health, all billing enquiries should be made using the telephone number listed for that location.
