This four-storey complex that opened in 2007 is located within walking distance of the beautiful town of Qualicum Beach. The property is surrounded by lovely gardens and outdoor parking is available for tenants and guests.
The building features many amenities and services including lounges, wellness centre, hair salon, media room, library, recreation hall and outdoor courtyards.
Short walking distance to shopping, churches etc.
Gentle Care.
Complex care unit consists of 86 private single occupancy and five shared double occupancy.
Residents pay up to 80% of their after tax income which covers the cost of food and accommodation.
Activities for the Complex Care unit are provided by staff led by a Certified Recreational Therapist. The facility has a bus for planned outings.
Wheelchair accessible.
Electric wheelchairs and small scooters are allowed for residents who are deemed “safe” to operate (testing for safety by OT)
No live-in pets. Visiting pets are not permitted in the common areas and must be on a short leash while entering/exiting the building.
A non-smoking community. Smoking is not permitted in any accommodation, patio, balcony or within the site's grounds.
Key pad access and door enter phone system.
Visitors are expected to follow the policies of the Gardens at Qualicum Beach. Overnight visitors must let the reception desk know they will be staying the night.
During influenza season (typically December-March), to help protect patients from the flu, all visitors will be expected to wear a mask in our facilities if they have not had a flu shot. For more information, please read ourFrequently Asked Questionsand流感Protection Policy.
Provincial policy requires all visitors to be informed: "Violence, foul language and abusive behaviours are not acceptable. Verbal threats or acts of violence will not be tolerated and may result in removal from this facility and/or prosecution.”
