Through the generosity of donors, the Hospital Foundation purchases vital equipment and funds major projects that help expand healthcare services closer to home, reduce wait times and provide better healthcare for Central Vancouver Island residents. In addition, the Hospital Foundation funds patient comfort items as well as staff education to ensure our healthcare professionals have the latest tools and knowledge they need to deliver excellent care.
The Hospital Foundation servesNanaimo Regional General Hospital (NRGH),Dufferin Place Long-Term Care,Eagle Park Long-Term Care,Trillium Lodge Long-Term Careand theOceanside Health Centre. The Hospital Foundation also owns and operates two social enterprise businesses that support the purchase of medical equipment.Nanaimo Lifelinehelps people live at home longer through their monitoring services andCode Brew Cafeat NRGH serves up a variety of tasty treats and beverages. All donations are invested in Central Vancouver Island, helping the people you care for.
